The modern Slaughterhouse and Processing Plant is located in the industrial park of Mar del Plata city, and complements the integrated poultry production system, developing the slaughter, cutting and processing of the chicken.
The plant is equipped with state-of-the-art Dutch technology in automatic poultry evisceration, and it is ready to satisfy the strict requirements of international trade. The installed capacity of 6000 chickens an hour was projected to cater for the regional demand and to develop new markets, both in Argentina and abroad.
The slaughterhouse has 10000 square metres under cover. It includes a sector for the physical and chemical treatment of effluents so as to take care of the environment and eliminate the risk of contamination.
“Pollo de las Sierras” products are made with the best part of the chicken and their processing is strictly supervised.
